Modern

In the Tate Modern, wandering around, watching all the people taking photos of pieces of art with their point’n’click’s and their mobile phones and whathaveyou, totally ignoring the ‘No pictures allowed‘ signs, while I’m wondering if having an image of a piece of art on your phone really does it any justice, can’t you just look at it and take those feelings from it without needing to capture a bastardised version for your pocket? So, I thought what the hell, and tried to get some photos of people taking photos of works or art. This was the result of a long exposure, trying to see how the woman in the shot would come out as she took a photo and then walked closer to the piece to take another. I’d like to go back and spend a whole day doing this.
